The first time in Australia an exhibition
of paintings and works on paper by a non-mainstream
art group from Vietnam, Hanoi Link. Hanoi Link is a
group of 12 artists working in a number of areas of
contemporary art, whose mission is to create an alternative
discourse to mainstream Vietnamese art by exploring
identity in a challenging and progressive culture. Hanoi
Link paintings endeavor to capture the spirit of a young
community, and the Hanoi Link members wish to show an
international audience a new aesthetic which pushes
the traditional boundaries.
